It is our aim to reach out to people in the local area and further afield.
We want all our visitors to feel welcome as members of our congregation and to share in our Christian fellowship. We have produced a number of leaflets explaining who we are as well as information about the Church and these are readily available in Church.
We welcome visitors from all over the world throughout the year. We hope they enjoy worshipping with us as much as we enjoy getting to know them.
In the summer of 2022, we welcomed many people from Ukraine who were staying at two local hotels. Some of them have become firm friends.and we have shared meals and celebrations with them - see other pages
This is when Sister Katerina and her pupils from La Bottega d'europa School in Rome came to join us.
Throught the year the congregation at St John's support fundraising events both locally and nationally eg Christian Aid Week and the Bishop's Lent Appeal. I
